How Assistance Works
We follow a clear, fair, and transparent process to make sure assistance reaches those who need it most.
- 1
Submit a Verified Assistance Request
An applicant submits a verified assistance request, including referral source and provider information.
- 2
Eligibility and Documentation Review
The organization reviews eligibility, financial need, referral information, and provider documentation.
- 3
Verification Contact
The referral source or provider may be contacted for verification.
- 4
Independent Board Review
Independent board members review the request and make an award decision.
- 5
Direct Payment to Provider
If approved, payment is made directly to the qualified provider.
- 6
No Cash to Applicants
No cash is given directly to applicants under any circumstances.
Non-Discrimination Commitment
Assistance is awarded without preference based on race, religion, gender, commercial brand, friendship, family relationship, donor relationship, or business affiliation.
