Use of Contributions
Contributions support The Accessible Golfer Project's charitable mission of expanding access to golf for individuals with disabilities. Donations may be used for adaptive golf instruction, golf equipment, adaptive equipment, range and course access, transportation assistance, and other mission-related charitable expenses where the need is greatest.
Tax Status
The Accessible Golfer Project is a Maryland nonprofit corporation recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should consult their own tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution.
Donor Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share donor information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Donor information is used solely to process and acknowledge contributions and administer our programs.
Refund Policy
While charitable contributions are generally considered final, refund requests submitted within 30 days due to an error or duplicate transaction will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Assistance Decisions
Applying for assistance does not guarantee funding or equipment. Assistance is provided based on available resources, eligibility requirements, and organizational priorities.
Stewardship of Funds
The Accessible Golfer Project is committed to using charitable contributions responsibly and in furtherance of its mission. The organization strives to direct donations toward charitable programs while maintaining the administrative infrastructure necessary to operate effectively. Our Board of Directors oversees the responsible use of organizational funds.
No Commercial Endorsement
The Accessible Golfer Project does not endorse or promote commercial golf products or businesses. Donations are not tied to any commercial brand, product, or service.
